Blood Ritual: Allows you to infect another player with Noxiphilic Sanguivoria once every 7 days by returning to the Vampire ritual site. Players already infected with Lycanthropy cannot be infected with Noxiphilic Sanguivoria.

Blood Ritual lets you infect another player with Vampirism once per week. The two players must be at one of the ritual sites in Reaper's March(map)Bangkorai(map)The Rift(map) in order to perform the ritual. The receiver may complete the quest at any ritual site, regardless of alliance.

Notes[edit]

  • While this ritual is activated with a Synergy-like event in the same way as feeding on NPC victims and also uses the same animation, performing the ritual will not reduce your Vampirism stage.

Ossuary of Unquiet Dead is a mission in the personal story for all characters, who in the previous mission chose 'Let's stop this problem at its source: the ossuary.'

Objectives[edit]

Destroy the ossuary at the Orrian temple of Lyssa.

  • Meet Trahearne at the tent outside the ruins of Wren.
  • Gather additional Pact soldiers along the way.
  • Recruit the Pact soldiers at Lyssa's temple.
  • Enter the temple of Lyssa.
  • Clear the temple's center platform so Trahearne can perform his ritual.
  • Clear the next platform so Trahearne can continue the ritual.
  • Clear the next platform so Trahearne can continue the ritual.
  • Clear the next platform so Trahearne can continue the ritual.
  • Return to the center platform so Trahearne can finish the ritual.
  • Descend into the ossuary's lower chambers.
  • Destroy the necrotic urns.
  • Defeat Prince Ellasal.

Walkthrough[edit]

You first following the objective markers gathering a small team of about seven Pact soldiers. These soldiers are aggressive and will wander off short distances to engage foes. Keep your eye on them and make sure you revive any that die.

On the initial visit to the temple's center platform, focus fire on the Incomplete Abomination first, since its incomplete form takes increased damage and can be dispatched faster than the tougher Risen Abomination (but see note below).

In the temple you lead Trahearne around clearing out the four temple platforms and waiting for him to complete his ritual in that area. There are a few Veteran Risen Knights patrolling the outer ring counter-clockwise which should be either avoided or ambushed such that you don't end up engaging the patrolling veteran at the same time as the static platform groups. When you are directed back to the center you will find dozens of Risen Eagles that are low level and easily dispatched.

Defeating all of the foes in the temple is not required; consider avoiding the Risen Abomination and Risen Knights that patrol around the perimeter.

You then follow the markers down to the bottom floor. You will encounter some Spider Queens as you go down the stairwell. When you reach the bottom you must 'squash' the eggs (not all of them have to be destroyed to continue) and then defeat the spawned Legendary Prince Ellasal. If you die during this phase you re-spawn back in the Temple as does Ellasal. Lead him back down and you may run into your allies to resume the fight. Prince Ellasal does not have that much health and the smaller foes can realistically be ignored - they all die when Prince Ellasal is defeated.

Meeting with Trahearne (cinematic):

Trahearne: The goal is to stop Zhaitan's reinforcements. Our target is the Cathedral of Eternal Radiance on Orr's north coast.
Trahearne: It's essentially a factory that manufactures Zhaitan's horde. I intend to shut it down, and I'm sending in a strike team to do just that.
Trahearne: We don't know exactly how it functions, so I'm joining the team to make sure we have whatever rituals are required to get the job done.
Trahearne: We'll pick up reinforcements on the way. Commander, you'll lead the strike team and protect me while I perform the rituals. Any questions?
<Character name>: None, Marshal. It's long past time we forced Zhaitan to fight its own battles instead of hiding behind minions. Ready when you are.

Talking to Trahearne:

Trahearne: We'll start in the Temple of Lyssa. That's where the flow of the undead monstrosities originates.
What happens once we reach our goal?
I know a ritual that will show us actual Orrian funeral rites. I've studied these rites, but viewing them as they happen will provide valuable clues on how to proceed.
What kind of clues?
We'll be able to follow a single corpse through the preparation process. That will lead us to whatever Zhaitan's minions are doing to convert the current flow of corpses into undead monsters.
Understood. I'm ready when you are, Marshal.
And then we put a stop to it. Good plan. Let's get started.
I understand. The sooner we get started, the better.

When encountering Pact soldiers:

Trahearne: Follow us! We're on a vital mission, and we need all the soldiers we can muster.
Trahearne: Form up on the commander! We must search the temple.

Talking to Trahearne:

Trahearne: This is one of the most complex and powerful Orrian death rituals. I'll need to perform different stages of it at several locations within the temple.
We'll be fighting the Risen every step of the way.
True. It's less than ideal, but we'll need to clear these platforms of undead so I can safely perform the ritual.

Then let's start clearing the platforms.

I'm afraid so. This place is steeped in the Lyssa's magic and Orrian necromancy. We have to tread very carefully. I believe this is the only way to learn what we need to know.
And once we learn it, then we strike.
Exactly. Once we determine exactly what the ancient Orrians did with the bodies, and where they took them, we'll find the mechanism Zhaitan uses to craft its monstrosities.
And wreck it. Okay, Marshal. Let's go.
You focus on the ritual. Leave the Risen to me.

Eenie meenie chords. Arriving at the central platform:

Trahearne: By the Pale Tree, they're stitching that beast together from body parts!

After clearing the center platform:

Trahearne: Once, the Orrians interred their dead here. Now Zhaitan uses this place to craft abominations.
Trahearne: Stand by. My ritual will show us how the ancient priests went about their grim tasks.
Trahearne: Before Orr sank, this was the final resting place of Lyssa's most loyal followers.
Trahearne: The deceased were brought here so the officiants could perform the appropriate funeral rites.
Trahearne: We have to follow this ancient path to see where the bodies of Lyssa's faithful ended up.

After clearing the SE platform:

Trahearne: The first stage of the rite is grief. The loved ones of the deceased played and integral role.
Trahearne: Here, they were encouraged to express the pain and rage they felt over the passing.
Trahearne: They had to release these potentially destructive emotions before the rites could proceed.
Trahearne: The funeral rites aren't done. I must perform my ritual at each key location.

After clearing the NE platform:

Trahearne: This next step was largely ceremonial, but was observed by rich and poor alike.
Trahearne: They offerred a valuable gift in an attempt to persuade the priests to resurrect the dead.
Trahearne: Naturally, the priests refused, but the act of offering and accepting rejection remained a part of the rite.
Trahearne: Almost finished. There should be only one platform remaining.

After clearing the NW platform:

Trahearne: Finally, the family faced the inevitable reality that their loved one was gone.
Trahearne: Here they were encouraged to mourn, and to beseech Lyssa to ease their pain.
Trahearne: They prayed to their goddess for relief, and to watch over the deceased in the Mists.
Trahearne: Return to the center platform. That's where their rite will end.

At the central platform:

Trahearne: With the funeral rites complete, the deceased moved on to the ossuary.
Trahearne: Next they would prepare and inter the body—ah! See there?
Trahearne: They're taking the body down through that hidden door to the crypt below.
Trahearne: That must be where Zhaitan's minions are creating new Risen soldiers, and that's where we need to be.

Talking to Trahearne:

Trahearne: The inner workings of Zhaitan's ossuary must be in the chambers below. Keep your guard up: the worst dangers lurk down there, too.
I'll lead the way.

After entering the ossuary:

Trahearne: Those urns scattered around the room are steeped in Zhaitan's magic!
Trahearne: The dragon must have distilled its essence. Pure necrotic power, in concentrated form.
Trahearne: It's corrupting all the corpses stored here and fueling the construction of new abominations.
Trahearne: Smash them. Smash them all!

Talking to Trahearne:

Trahearne: These urns contain a mix of spirit essence, interred remains, and draconic magic. They're our target. Destroy them!
Done.

Upon encountering Risen Prince Ellasal:

Risen Prince Ellasal: Who dares? This is a sacred place. First to Lyssa, now to Zhaitan. Begone, or you will defile it!
Trahearne: You already defiled it when you betrayed Lyssa and desecrated the remains of her followers.
Risen Prince Ellasal: Lyssa is gone. We serve the dragon now. Zhaitan will consume you all!
Risen Prince Ellasal: Rise now, my servants. Rise now, and destroy these enemies of our master!

After defeating Risen Prince Ellasal (cinematic):

Trahearne: Zhaitan's depravity continues to destroy everything it touches. At least now this place is safe. Well done, everyone.
<Character name>: We've crippled the dragon's spies, food, and troop supply. It's more vulnerable than ever. How do we exploit that?
Trahearne: We advance. I have a plan for a large-scale operation to push back enemy forces and establish base camps right here in Orr.
Trahearne: Now that operation can begin. All I need is time to regroup and organize our forces.

Talking to Trahearne:

Trahearne: We're done here. This place is still crawling with Risen, but the ossuary will create no more abominations. Meet back at Fort Trinity and we'll discuss the Pact's next move.
Will do, Marshal.

My story[edit]

Uncharted pc game download. Trahearne and I led a mission into Zhaitan's ossuary to destroy the horrid process used to create Risen monstrosities. The ossuary was heavily defended, but we were able to shut it down. Now that we've crippled Zhaitan's surveillance, food supply, and ability to create reinforcements, it's time to press the advantage and establish a major beachhead in Orr.
