Very loud revving when the car starts.
Sometimes stalls when it goes in low gear.
General Comments:
When the engine light went on, I took it to have it scanned and the mechanic said it is the transmission. Being a female, I did not want to get ripped off for repairs, so I am saving more $ in case it will be costly. Headlights are good now.
It is just sitting in the garage at home while I use my son's XY Holden Commodore which runs well.

Would you buy another car from this manufacturer? Don't Know

Review Date:6th June, 2017
While Australia is not necessarily the first country many people will think of when car manufacturing is mentioned, the cars that are made there tend to be of a high quality. Not least of the Australian brands is Holden, a company founded more than a century and a half ago and successfully exporting cars to this very day. With its connections worldwide to GM in the United States and Daewoo in Korea, the company has profited from and contributed to a strong exchange of knowledge which has allowed it to become one of the Southern Hemisphere’s longest-running vehicle companies.
There is no doubting why Holden has maintained its place in the market. The quality of cars that it produces means that anyone buying a Holden will get a reliable car with real toughness and quality combined. Even 150 years in the business, however, does not mean that a company will be able to produce cars that never have faults. A service manual in the glove compartment of your Holden may be the most valuable add-on you ever choose – having an understandable repair guide may mean that you save hundreds in costs.
